Robert Dempster Memorial Scholarship
The Robert Dempster Memorial Scholarship ($3000) was created to honor Bob, a founding member and first Governor of the local Mayflower Society Chapter (Rancho Conejo Colony). He was also the driving force behind the Mayflower Rose Parade Float in 2020, the 400th anniversary of its passage to Plymouth.
Details:
- Must be a graduating HS senior in 2024 and accepted by a college or trade school.
- Must have two recommendations as listed and (most importantly) a good 500-word essay.
- Need not be a Mayflower passenger descendant or even a California resident!
The money will be paid directly to the institution for expenses of the winner.
