The Harvest and the Press
The brix (sugars) are up and it's time to pick our Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and the Bordeaux blend grapes! This Saturday, August 20th, 5 a.m. until we're finished (about 3 hours). Like last week, we'll have hired hands on the hill to bring down the fruit, but we'll have plenty to do at the crusher/destemmer. Please join us as we set in motion our next vintage of award-winning wines.
Once the fermentation of the grapes is complete, it will be time to PRESS. While we cannot predict exactly when that will happen, it will likely be the Friday of Labor Day weekend. Pencil that in - it will be short notice, but we'll email the date and time as soon as we know!
