Helping Others - Outreach

In response to the grace and love we have been given in Christ, we seek to serve our neighbors. Our commitment is to provide opportunities for The Church of The Epiphany to reach out locally, nationally and globally so that we may grow, mature and become more fully the people Christ calls us to be. We pledge to be careful, open and willing stewards.
Manna

Manna serves those in need in the 101 corridor cities from the Calabasas Grade to the Conejo Grade and provides direct food/grocery assistance to individuals and families struggling with hunger. Through their “choice-model” Community Food Pantry, clients are able to choose from a wide variety of basic food and grocery items to help them through difficult times.
The Episcopal Church in Navajoland

This summer, Epiphany’s Outreach Committee was focused on a Water is Life campaign for the Navajo Reservation by donating to Water Warriors United. The goal was to help those is need have enough water through, and past the pandemic. As you can imagine the water project is hugely significant in helping people stay healthy and safe.

Epiphany members sponsor children at the Latin Patriarch School in Palestine. The school is supported by St. Matthew’s Church in Zebebdeh and by Educate 4 Hope, through the diocese of Los Angeles. The cost of one child’s education for a year is $700. Thank you for sending children to school each year!
