Stewardship Campaign 2022
Pledge Card below.
Dear Epiphany Family,
Some truly busy days are upon us! And isn't that a wonderful thing to say? 2022 has been a year of vitality and new beginnings for us as a family, with joy and excitement filling the air around us. We have seen new families arrive as well as families returning to Epiphany again now that COVID restrictions have eased up a bit. And because of that, we seem to have been blessed with a vibrancy that has enlivened our community and given us new energy and hope. That energy was literally palpable during events such as our Ministry Fair, the Blessing of the Animals Service, RDV events, Music Guild events, the book group, the Renewal Work Spiritual Vitalization Inventory, and of course our Gala Night of Celebration. We are now poised and ready "To Thrive and Grow" again. And while I am grateful beyond measure for all the work and support that went into these events, I must ask you for even more.
This time of year reminds us that financial support, in the form of a pledge to Epiphany is vital if we are to carry out the church's work. In case you missed the Town Hall meetings we held on the last two Sundays, I feel it is my duty to let you know that without our generous endowment and other windfalls we have received over the past few years, we would not have been able to keep our doors open. Costs have risen dramatically this past year, as I am sure you are aware, and we have responded to those increases by cutting costs wherever possible. We have reduced the size of our staff until it hurts! And we are grateful for all of you who have stepped up to help fill in the gaps those reductions have created.
Now is the time that we need to ask for your financial help as well. If you have never pledged, perhaps this is the year you might decide you can. If you have pledged before, perhaps this is the year you might consider increasing the amount. My sincere hope is that everyone will support Epiphany in the form of a financial pledge. I ask that you prayerfully consider how you might contribute.
Below is a pledge card for 2023. Please join others in our congregation by making a financial pledge ideally, if possible, by December 4, 2022.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss further how you might be able to help Epiphany "Thrive and Grow," please don't hesistate to get in touch with me.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
The Rev. Jamie Barnett
