Adult Formation

We are happy to be able to share programs that help adults to examine their faith and the human condition, deepening their connection to God and each other.

Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina emerged from the fourth century Christian Desert Mothers and Fathers. It is a practice of scriptural reading, meditation, and prayer opening to a deeper communion with God. It does not treat Scripture as texts to be studied, but as a way to listen as God speaks.

Please join us Wednesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm as Barry Burns leads us along these beautiful steps on the Spiritual Journey.

Education for Ministry

Every baptized person is called to ministry. The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people with the education to carry out that ministry. EfM offers an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service.

By examining their own beliefs and their relationship to our culture and the tradition of our Christian faith, participants can learn what it means to be effective ministers in the world. In coming to terms with the notion that everything we do has potential for manifesting the love of Christ, we discover that our ministry is at hand wherever we turn.

Love Is The Way Video Series

In 2020, Bishop Michael Curry wrote Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times. It is also a video series. Read the book, and in five sessions listen to the reflections by The Rev. Canon Melissa McCarthy, The Rev. Dr. Antonio Gallardo, The Very. Rev. Dr. Canon Gary Hall, Gabriel Vasquez-Reyes, and Bishop John H. Taylor and follow along with the study materials provided.

Walk the path of love with one of the warmest, most beloved spiritual leaders of our time, and learn how to put faith into action.
