Creation Care

Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.
Creation Care at The Church of the Epiphany is about helping each other to grow in care for God’s Creation.
Moving from head to heart we allow for the presence of God to inspire us while building relationships rooted in love. We recognize and participate in the kindred interconnection of all beings, elements, and places, that the ancients described as Logos.

At Creation Care Ministries our desire is to bring a joyful heart full of loving compassion to Earth stewardship, celebrating the gifts given. If we think about the Earth as just the environment around us, we experience ourselves and the Earth as separate. While some may see the planet only in terms of what it can do for us, it’s important to recognize that the planet and the people on it are ultimately one and the same. Long before there were churches people experienced God in and through the natural world.

Activities
Seasonal Sacred Hikes help to create a personal bond and connection. With each step we grow closer in fellowship to each other and the other than human. More activities will be added as interest develops.
