SPOTLIGHT ON MINISTRY - Coffee Hosts
Ministry Leader Shay Hass
Hospitality and warmth are the first things I think of when being a coffee host. Giving someone a hot cup of coffee and a donut brings a smile to their face and something to hold while mingling with other parishioners.
During Covid, one thing I missed was the casual banter during coffee hour. It was nice catching up with people you hadn’t seen in a week and meeting new people. Being a coffee host is a great casual way to participate in the church and add joy to others.
It’s an easy setup of coffee, supplies, and donuts. Cleanup is a breeze and volunteers usually are assigned a Sunday once every 6-8 weeks. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the church office at (818) 991-4797 or send an email to [email protected].
