Ingathering for Refugee Families May 15th and May 21st
During the month of May, The Church of the Epiphany is supporting the Conejo Interfaith Refugee Team (CIRT) and the Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN) in gathering items to make welcome baskets for Refugee Families. This will replace our usual food collection on the last Thursday of the month.
Our Outreach group has elected to collect the “Bathroom Kit.” The following items are needed:
Laundry Basket or Hamper
Toilet Paper |
Disposable Razors |
Shampoo |
Nail Clippers |
Conditioner |
Band-aids |
Bar Soap |
Shaving Cream |
Liquid Hand Soap |
Hairbrush & Combs |
Toothbrushes (soft) |
Tissue |
Toothpaste |
Washcloths |
Deodorant |
Towels |
These items may be dropped off at the church office during hours (9 am- 3 pm Tues- Fri) or on Sunday, May 15th.
If those times are not convenient, the items may be dropped off at the Islamic Center of Conejo Valley, 2700 Borchard Rd, Newbury Park on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 am.
